SMPS, Motherboard, memory unit and processor an output unit and an input unit.
We can add graphic card or sound card if needed everything above are connected to the computer

What are Operating systems

Types of OS.

Mostly used Operating System are of two type based on UNIX & (windows). Under UNIX there are many types of Linux (Try to search on Google), Macintosh, Debian, and BSD Linux Even our Mobile OS (Android) etc…

Operating system which counts under UNIX are known for their stability. They are easy to Customization & Programmer friendly etc. It is under Open source Licence.

And on Windows side there comes Windows 95, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 8 and Windows 10. These are known for user friendliness.

Above are the basics on kind of Operating systems and all are client based operating system, below are the details of server operating systems.

Now types of Operating system.

There are two Types of Operating System Server and Client

Under server OS we have two branches based on UNIX & Windows

UNIX: Red Hat, Centos etc.

Windows: Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2016.

What are Servers?  Servers OS are used for particular application used by number of Users at same time.
